Job summary

Manthey Hospitality in Tampa Bay is seeking a Line Cook for Yacht StarShip's Clearwater operations. You will prepare and cook menu items, set up stations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety aboard our dining yachts.

We require a minimum of 3 years culinary experience, ability to follow recipes, strong time-management, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will support dishwashing and kitchen sanitation and help the team deliver exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that food is cooked and plated to the highest standards of quality.
• Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the head chef.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation standards.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, kitchen surfaces, and storage areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and support overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist with kitchen opening, closing, and deep-cleaning procedures as needed.
• Support other kitchen staff with general utility and food preparation tasks as assigned.
