Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a committed Line Cook to join the Kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to recipes, maintaining a clean workstation, and supporting overall kitchen operations.

You will work with chefs and teammates to ensure quality and consistency, handle prep tasks, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or prep cook experience in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and plating.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain portion guidelines.
• Legal authorization to work and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items per recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Set up,stock, and break down station before, during, and after service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and consistency.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff for timely service.
• Monitor inventory and inform leadership of low stock or issues.
• Assist with prep tasks like chopping and marinating as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report malfunctions.
