810 Houston is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to prepare diverse menu items efficiently, maintain sanitation, and follow food safety guidelines. You will rotate and label food, follow portion controls, and ensure proper storage. The role covers multiple kitchen stations and requires teamwork and adaptability.

The ideal candidate understands recipes and can execute dishes while maintaining cleanliness standards and timely preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory level.

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of cooking procedures, kitchen equipment, and food safety rules.
• Label, date & rotate all food properly - FIFO system.
• Follow all portion controls for all food items.
• Control & limit all waste.
• Follow opening & closing procedures.
• Have knowledge of where & how everything is stored.
• Ability to build menu items based off of recipes.
• Be knowledgeable and able to execute all stations in the kitchen.
• Team members must ensure that all food items have been rang in before leaving the kitchen.
• Team members must be knowledgeable of cleanliness standards and execute them.
• Team members must be flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Team members must be able to properly execute pre-ordered packages based on BEO documents.
