Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen team. You will be responsible for your prep work and cook’s station, maintaining high standards for presentation, quality and cook times, and learning to prepare menu items according to recipes and specifications.

You will be cross-trained in all kitchen roles and must work with speed and accuracy, following sanitation guidelines and safety procedures throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills are required.
• Mobility to move around the kitchen during shift.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food prep tools.
• Physical ability to transport cases and lift items up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes and standards.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
