Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join our family with a focus on prep work and the cook's station, while upholding high standards for presentation, quality, and timing. You will learn to prepare all menu items according to recipes and specifications as part of the Kitchen Team, cross-trained across kitchen departments.

You will be exposed to a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, hospitality, and consistent execution of standards.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work and set up workstation.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects.
