Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join our Kitchen Team. You will handle assigned prep work and work at the cook’s station, upholding our standards for presentation, quality, and timing. You’ll be cross-trained across kitchen roles and learn our recipes and specifications.

You will clean, sanitize, and maintain the work area, follow sanitary practices, and participate in daily/weekly cleaning tasks. Thrive is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
