Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Line Cook to join the kitchen team. You will handle assigned prep work and your cook’s station, maintaining product quality, presentation, and cooking times. You will be cross-trained across kitchen roles and learn our recipes and specifications.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and supporting daily and weekly cleaning tasks while contributing to a high-standard guest experience in a family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift; able to transport cases up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s recipes and specifications (50%).
• Complete all assigned prep work (15%).
• Set up workstation according to station diagram (15%).
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift (5%).
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%).
