Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Finger/hand dexterity to operate food machinery with or without accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication with various audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start ahead items to avoid over-preparing estimated needs.
• Date and rotate perishables; keep at proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan prep, and keep buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage with cover/date.
• Assist in cost control and waste reduction per standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely.
• Attend regularly and be available to work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
