Job summary

Destination Zion Lodge LLC in Utah seeks a Cook 2 to prepare a wide range of menu items and manage prep stations. You will train Cook 1 staff, ensure quality, and maintain sanitation per ServSafe standards, while contributing to menu planning in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes on-site housing and meals, free onsite facilities, and opportunities for career growth across POWDR properties. You’ll join a welcoming team supporting guests near Zion National Park.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
• Utah Food Handlers Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Work in grill, fry, sauté, and prep stations.
• Train Cook 1 staff in food preparation and kitchen safety.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation per ServSafe standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries, monitor inventory, and stock supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Contribute to menu planning and suggest new dishes or improvements.
