Job summary

Responsibilities include station prep, seasoning, soups and sauces, keeping the kitchen clean, inventory management, and adhering to safety standards; previous culinary training or 1-2 years of casual full-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience.
• Requires a culinary education or a minimum 1-2 years of experience in a casual full service restaurant or establishment.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of all food items and maintaining the temperature of the items.
• Responsible for seasoning and garnishing food.
• Responsible for preparing all soups and sauces.
• Responsible for keeping the cooking area clean and in an orderly state.
• Maintaining inventory and ordering food items on a daily basis.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor and adjust performance to local competition as warranted.
• Other duties as assigned.
