Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hotel/restaurant kitchen experience, strong culinary fundamentals, teamwork, and the ability to follow recipes with attention to detail. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a dynamic, professional environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently without immediate supervision and collaborate with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measures.
• Able to follow recipes.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers certification or obtain upon hire.
• Culinary degree or formal training strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry moderate weight.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and be comfortable with kitchen equipment.

• Efficiently prepare all food items as directed by supervisor and to the company specifications, with limited supervision from management.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of culinary fundamentals and techniques.
• Work on an outlet hot/cold line to execute menu items within the timeline for each meal period.
• Stay organized with prep sheets and station guides to manage your timeline for service.
• Use culinary equipment properly and safely.
• Create plate presentations that meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude in stressful situations.
• Attend required monthly department meetings and trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
