Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a Cook I for overnight shifts in our upscale hotel kitchen. You will set up and organize the work area, prepare and store raw food, and follow standardized recipes to produce high-quality menu items.

You will monitor temperatures, maintain sanitation standards, and work with team members to ensure timely service in a high-volume environment with multiple dining venues. Strong English communication and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to read, write and follow standardized recipes.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes the work area with all necessary supplies and equipment.
• Prepares and stores raw food products properly.
• Follows standardized recipes in the preparation and cooking of menu items.
• Monitors temperatures and sanitation; ensures timely service.
• Maintains clean and organized kitchen and communicates with team.
