Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• Cooking experience required 1-2 years in a similar position.
• Extensive experience with slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all station specific food items according to recipes and guest checks.
• Maintain high quality level of production and presentation.
• Visually inspect appearance, taste, and presentation of foods.
• Ensure proper storage and portion control of products and sauces.
• Keep areas clean, sanitized, and compliant with Health Department regulations.
• Set up, break down, and perform advance prep for the station.
• Attend department meetings and trainings as required.
• Follow Marcus Hotels & Resorts policies and Marriott Standards.
