Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 months cooking/food prep experience in a food operation
• Intermediate kitchen production knowledge and equipment use
• Must obtain ServSafe Certification within 90 days
• Experience with a Tribally run casino/resort preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports Lead Cooks, Sous Chefs and Supervisors in kitchen production
• Preps and cooks for all food outlets and items
• Reads recipes, records temperatures, weighs and measures ingredients
• Operates cooking equipment with knife, grilling, frying, sauté skills
• Maintains quality and presentation standards
• Adheres to SERV Safe guidelines for storing food
• Works banquets when needed
• Completes training for Resort and F&B department
