Job summary

Palmetto Bluff Investments LLC is seeking a Cook I - Anson Point in Bluffton, SC. This full-time, on-site role offers an hourly wage with a +4% commission, working in a farm-to-table environment under a culinary team.

The candidate will prepare hot and cold foods, maintaining high quality, sanitation, and safety standards. The position requires a minimum of 3 years cooking experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally a culinary degree.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ cooking experience.
• Upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred.
• Culinary Degree from an accredited culinary program.
• Ability to communicate clearly and speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all restaurant foods, hot and cold, to specifications and plate with presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and policies.
• Work as a team and communicate with management, chefs, and service staff.
• Process requisitions, lower food cost and waste, label/date products, read tickets, and assist in service.
• Ensure guest experience centers on food quality and dining experience.
