Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and hospitality/restaurant food service experience required.
• Basic kitchen cleanliness standards and knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
• Able to work with little or no supervision.
• Read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and twisting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for hotel restaurant and catering functions.
• Follow proper food handling and safety guidelines and maintain food quality.
• Maintain clean work area and support kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Assist with training and monitoring kitchen personnel as necessary.
• Support environmental commitments and safety in the kitchen.
• Other kitchen duties as assigned.
