Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is hiring a line cook for a high-volume NYC venue located at 146 Essex Street, New York, NY 10002. You will prepare hot and cold foods and set up all stations, following TAO standards and sanitation guidelines.

We seek at least 1 year of line cook experience, or equivalent Tao hospitality experience. The role requires quick motion, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with shift flexibility and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year line cook experience or Tao Group Hospitality experience.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge is preferred.
• Relevant education or Tao Group Hospitality experience required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate guest needs.
• Handle allergy and dietary restrictions and modifications.
• Prepare hot and cold foods; work all prep aspects.
• Follow POS orders and expeditor directions.
• Maintain station cleanliness and sanitation.
• Set up station and manage mise en place; FIFO.
