Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is hiring a Line Cook for our House of Blues venues in the United States. You will prepare food for service in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, following standardized recipes and maintaining sanitation and safety throughout shifts.

You’ll organize prep, manage portion sizes, coordinate with staff, and ensure clean and safe working conditions while upholding House of Blues policies and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations and food prep standards.
• Ability to inspect spoilage and rotate stock to ensure quality.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in fast-paced environments.
• Follow standardized recipes and maintain plate presentation.
• Coordinate prep and plating with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize preparation of food items.
• Prepare food according to standardized recipes.
• Ensure proper size and weight of portions.
• Coordinate food prep with other kitchen staff.
• Move through the area to monitor atmosphere and flow.
• Handle plate presentation per standard recipes.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and walk-in cooler.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free kitchen area during shifts.
• Keep floors free of debris and residue.
• Abide by House of Blues safety and sanitation standards.
• Open and close the kitchen as assigned.
• Support other kitchen stations as needed.
• Adhere to productivity, appearance, and punctuality standards.
