Job summary

Avolta is hiring a Cook to join our team in Tampa, FL. The role requires preparing cooked foods across Fry, Flat Top, Pantry, and Egg stations, while maintaining high quality and timely service to guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience in high-volume casual dining preferred.
• Knowledge of soups, saute9, broiler, fry, and pantry stations.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and prepares, seasons, cooks, tastes, and serves food items (soups, meats, vegetables, desserts).
• Tastes products, estimates requirements, checks production, and requisitions supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Practices food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Operates kitchen equipment; measures and mixes ingredients; washes, peels, cuts fruits/vegetables.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product.
