The 5 Spot Midtown in Savannah, GA is seeking a Line Cook to join our fast-paced Heart‑of‑House team. This part-time role offers a casual neighborhood restaurant environment with a bar program and opportunities to grow within the team.

Ideal candidates are passionate about hospitality, capable of standing for long shifts, and eager to contribute to high-quality service. Earn $18 per hour starting, with room for advancement and employee benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Three years of kitchen experience preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, bend and reach.
• Ability to take direction.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and promotion of The 5 Spot culture and brand.
• Knowledge of all items on our menu.
• Knowledge of sanitation and cleanliness standards and the ability to adhere to these standards.
• Use of industrial kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a safe and respectful working environment for both staff and customers by using proper food handling skills and following workplace safety guidelines.
• Keeping kitchen team’s work areas clean and organized.
• Following all company operating policies and procedures.
• Supporting the actions and decisions of Management.
