Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is hiring a Cook/Prep to join our fast-paced kitchen team. Prepare and cook menu items per recipes, set up stations, and maintain cleanliness; ensure timely quality and presentation.

You will work with BOH, assist with deliveries, cross-train, and contribute to growth. Requires 1–2 years in food production or fast-paced restaurant, Food Handler cert, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in food production or fast-paced restaurant.
• Food Handler certification or local equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away.
• Cross-train across roles to support growth and contribution to team success.
