Laziza Mediterranean Grill is seeking a dedicated line cook to prepare a variety of dishes from established recipes and to work with broilers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure high quality, proper portioning, and timely execution while maintaining cleanliness and kitchen safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of dishes meeting established recipes.
• Cook using broilers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure quality and correct portion sizes.
• Maintain standard portions, methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations for smooth service.
• Control costs by portioning and rotation of food.
• Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, or sautéing.
• Observe plate presentation and garnish setup.
• Handle, store and rotate products properly.
• Assist in prep during off-peak periods as needed.
• Perform side duties such as washing dishes and restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at all times; open/close cleanup duties.
• Uphold safety and sanitation requirements for health and safety.
