Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a Cook to prepare culinary delights for guests and hotel clientele. You will work across pantry, broiler, sauté and other stations, following standardized recipes to deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Education: high school or equivalent; culinary certificate preferred.
• Experience: six months to one year in a food/beverage operations environment.
• Must read/speak English and lift 20-40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start prepped items ahead of time and manage portions.
• Assemble orders accurately across kitchen stations.
• Work all kitchen stations including broiler, sauté, fry, pantry, and expeditor.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and sanitation.
• Rotate stock and assist with buffet preparation.
• Assist in controlling food costs and waste.
• Prepare and service food for hotel cafeteria.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
