Schnitzel Kitchen in Knoxville, TN is seeking experienced, creative, and passionate cooks to join our fast-paced quick service kitchen. We are hiring prep and line cooks to support our menu with proven recipes.

Requirements include 3+ years cooking and kitchen administration experience, a high school diploma/GED, the ability to stand for 8+ hours, lift 40 pounds, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Salary will depend on qualification; this is a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cooking and kitchen administration experience.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to stand for eight hours or more a day.
• High level of professionalism.
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes.
• Memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures.
• Ensure kitchen and storage areas meet cleaning standards.
• Work with team of cooks to preps for other shifts as needed.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock per schedule.
• Take customer orders at counter in rotating POS system.
