Now Hiring FT Line Cook at our Raytown, MO Facility!

Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. We focus on behavioral health, providing assistance to those with substance abuse issues, addictions, and mental health concerns.

The Recovery Village Kansas City (KCR) is an addiction treatment center offering a continuum of care for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We adopt a holistic treatment approach for addiction and co-occurring conditions. Our 80-bed facility in Kansas City is physician-led, providing medical detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs. Located in tranquil Raytown, Missouri, about 30 minutes from Kansas City International Airport, we aim to support recovery in a peaceful setting.

Pay Range

Responsibilities

The Line Cook is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, ensuring regulation compliance (reporting), and maintaining sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas as assigned by the Food Service Director.

Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success by:

• Ensuring the orderly storage and cleanliness of all kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
• Checking and recording temperatures for refrigerators and freezers daily.
• Using approved cleaning agents appropriately in all food-related areas.
• Removing trash and refuse from kitchen, dining, and storage areas.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely, including meat slicers.
• Inventorying food service items and supplies as directed.

Other Tasks:

• Performing work activities safely and orderly.
• Working cooperatively with others and in the best interests of the facility.
• Reporting health status changes to the supervisor promptly.
• Taking responsibility for professional growth.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
