The Atterbury Hotel in Pittsburgh, managed by Sage Hospitality, is seeking a skilled line cook to ensure consistent food quality and efficient service across our two kitchens and catering operations.

You will follow recipe cards, monitor line setup, maintain sanitation, and work with a collaborative culinary team to deliver memorable guest experiences. Experience in a fast-paced kitchen and knife skills are valued; high school education or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of related kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check items against recipes and ensure proper portioning and presentation.
• Monitor line setup for efficiency during service periods.
• Maintain sanitation and adherence to SOPs, including restocking and dating per policy.
• Prepare food items with consistent quality following production standards.
• Assist in managing inventory, waste, and equipment readiness.
