Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a line cook at The Atterbury Hotel to ensure front line service and quality control. You will train in line cooks, supervise sanitation, and ensure proper food handling across multiple service sections.

Responsibilities include verifying recipe adherence, maintaining a clean, efficient line setup, and assisting in stocking and inventory management to control costs and waste.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cooking and the practices and procedures of a kitchen.
• Experience in a related position preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Check items against recipe cards and ensure proper use records.
• Monitor line setup for efficiency during meal periods.
• Maintain sanitation and adherence to SOPs in prep and service.
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Date and rotate perishables; keep proper temperatures.
• Assist in keeping buffet stocked and manage inventory.
• Return unused items to storage with proper labeling.
