Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional cooking experience.
• Some classroom culinary training a plus, but not required.
• Strong understanding of culinary preparations and advanced knife skills.
• Successful completion of satisfactory background check.
• Flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Expresses enthusiasm for the role and passion for culinary arts.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and respond under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening task lists for daily operations.
• Prepare prepped items and check dates and freshness.
• Gather equipment and identify shift needs.
• Write prep lists and review prior night’s prep.
• Prep food items for service period.
• Handle kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep station clean and organized during prep and service.
• Restock station and finalize before shift turnover.
• Clean and break down station at shift change.
• Remove trash and cardboard from kitchen areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas as needed for safety.
• Complete inventory counts nightly.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning guidelines; perform deep cleans.
