Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is hiring a Line Cook at Convene 100 Stockton in San Francisco. You will join our culinary team, preparing daily menu items, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation, and supporting catering orders for meeting and event clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of line cook experience, strong knife skills, a positive, team-oriented attitude, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Cook experience in related role.
• Strong cooking and knife skills required.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Ability to work well with others and have good communication skills.
• Cheerful, presentable, and helpful when dealing with customers.
• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required; nights/weekends may be included.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve daily menu items for clients in Convene locations.
• Participate in professionally run daily food service with excellence in portioning, timing, plate assembly, and communication.
• Prepare, cook, and serve items, following recipes with high quality presentation.
• Prepare and deliver catering orders for meeting and event clients with precision and punctuality.
• Assist other associates to ensure kitchen duties are completed within time constraints.
• Ensure all steps of service are followed per Convene standards.
• Maintain sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
