Job summary

Convene Hamilton Square is seeking a Line Cook to join our Culinary Team. You will prepare, cook, and serve daily menu items for clients at Convene locations, while upholding food safety, quality, and presentation.

You will work with a collaborative kitchen team under the guidance of the Executive Chef, with opportunities to develop skills in a high-end hospitality environment and contribute to catering orders and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Cook experience in a related role.
• Strong cooking and knife skills required.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Ability to work well with others and have good communication skills.
• Cheerful, presentable, and helpful when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve daily menu items to the clients in Convene locations, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
• Exemplify excellence in portioning, timing, plate assembly, and communication in a professional kitchen.
• Prepare and deliver catering orders with precision and punctuality for meetings and events.
• Assist others to ensure kitchen duties are completed within time constraints.
• Follow Convene service steps and maintain sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
