Republic Chophouse in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced Line Cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes for guests. You will work with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

You bring prior line cook experience, serve-safe or Food Handler certification if possible, and strong teamwork. You should be able to lift 30+ lbs and stand for long shifts, contributing to consistent, glass-clear service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification (or willingness to attain).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe practices.
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking quality and rotating stock.
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or judgment.
• Turn or stir foods for even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with professionalism.
• All prep and setup for assigned station.
• Close station at end of shift and store items properly.
• Comply with portion sizes, methods, and kitchen rules.
• Butcher and clean fish, poultry, lamb, pork, and beef.
