Job summary

The LINE DC in Adams Morgan, DC is hiring a Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will work under the Executive Sous Chef, focusing on station setup, mise en place, and timely execution of dishes for members and guests.

The right candidate will have at least 2 years in a high-volume restaurant, show strong teamwork and communication, and be comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a lively hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Experience in a high-volume, food-forward restaurant.
• Champion of the culture with strong communication and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and clean station according to Company and local regulated guidelines
• Prepare all food items to recipe and as trained to ensure consistent product is served for our members globally
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Company
• Restock all items as needed throughout shift
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills
• Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
• Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager at any time
