Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring immediate full-time or part-time Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Parties, or Station Chefs to join our kitchen teams in the New York area.

You will prepare and cook according to recipes while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. No prior experience is required as we train you; a Food Handler’s Card is preferred and we help you obtain one where needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must have Food Handler’s Card where required or obtain one.
• Love for food with attention to weights, measurements and volumes.
• Able to learn restaurant menu and recipes.
• Knowledge of chemicals used in the building.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible shifts availability.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications.
• Plate prepared foods according to chef’s guidance.
• Setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
• May assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils.
• Uphold kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards.
