Ramen Tatsu-Ya Lakeline is hiring a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, set up and break down your station, and maintain cleanliness and food safety throughout shifts.

You will work under high standards, demonstrate strong knowledge of our menu, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of meals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid food handler’s certificate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25-50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and navigating the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures for smooth operations.
• Set up and break down your station efficiently at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including routine cleaning of equipment and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the menu and ingredients to ensure accurate preparation and presentation.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
• Label, stock, and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards, while adhering to all health and safety rules.
• Work with a sense of urgency and purpose to ensure timely and efficient service.
