Tatsu-Ya in Bellaire, Houston is seeking a line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items with precision, maintain a clean station, and support opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid food handler certificate, able to lift 25–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the high standards of our ramen-focused kitchen.

• Prolonged periods of standing and navigating the kitchen environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist with opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up and break down your station efficiently at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including routine cleaning of equipment and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the menu and ingredients to ensure accurate preparation and presentation.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with management and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
• Properly label, stock, and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards, while adhering to all health and safety rules, including nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Work with a sense of urgency and purpose to ensure timely and efficient service.
