Job summary

The Pass by Charlie Palmer at Paso Robles Inn in Paso Robles, CA is hiring Line Cooks to join a premiere luxury property’s kitchen team. The role will support culinary operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services while maintaining top-tier food quality and safety standards.

You will work with the property’s culinary leadership to ensure consistent, high-standard service and guest experience, with a focus on efficiency, teamwork, and professional growth within a renowned culinary brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a qualified position and property food & beverage division, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a hotel or high-volume kitchen environment
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices
• Experience as a Cook is required
• Strong team player mentality
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, and special event day

Responsibilities

• Perform basic food preparation and assist with cooking duties as assigned
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
• Ensure that food quality and food safety standards are maintained at a high level each day
• Complete opening duties as assigned, including setting up the physical aspect of the station
• Prepare necessary food items for the meal period and next service
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
• Cook for the scheduled meal period as assigned
• Break down workstation and complete closing duties
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operating procedures, and safety standards
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations
• Follow safety and security procedures
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards
• Perform additional guest service duties as assigned by management
• Follow all additional duties as assigned by management
