Job summary

Rib-and-Chop-House in Gillette, WY is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen. You will prepare and plate dishes following our recipes and standards, ensuring consistency, quality and timely service.

Ideal candidates are team players with a passion for food, comfortable with long shifts, able to lift 35 lbs, and committed to sanitation. Experience is welcome but not required, and there are advancement opportunities in a kitchen rooted in Rocky Mountain hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs.
• Able to stand 8-10 hours per shift.
• Flexible scheduling with two-shift minimum.
• Must be of legal working age.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food using established procedures.
• Correctly prepare all food following standard recipes and diets.
• Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve excellence, temperature and appearance.
• Portions and plates of food for serving.
• Follows proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Label, date, and store ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Maintains daily production records.
• Reports necessary equipment repair to supervisor.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift.
