Job summary

The Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach is seeking experienced Line Cooks for a busy scratch kitchen. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and fellow cooks to prepare meals while maintaining high quality and timely execution.

Requirements include 2+ years cooking experience, strong knowledge of cooking methods and food handling, and the ability to read and follow standardized recipes. Pre-employment background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cooking experience.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
• Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling practices.
• ServSafe Certification: preferred.
• Subject to a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine and fellow cooks to prepare meals
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Setting up and restocking stations with necessary supplies
• Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely manner
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with Team members and Members
