Job summary

The Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced AM Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy scratch kitchen. You will prep, cook and plate breakfast and lunch items, follow recipes, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

This full-time on-site role offers competitive pay ($16-$20/hr) based on experience, flexible scheduling, team support, growth opportunities, and employee meals.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of cooking or kitchen experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Food handler certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and/or lunch items according to recipes and standards.
• Complete daily prep work including chopping, portioning, stocking, and labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met.
• Assist with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Open kitchen and prepare stations for service.
