Job summary

Ditka's Restaurant Group is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will maintain a clean, sanitary work area, prepare menu items per recipes and specifications, and set up stations for peak productivity in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow food cost controls, work with the team to ensure quality and consistency, and support back-of-house operations. Prior experience and a willingness to collaborate are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as line cook in a similar restaurant concept.
• Ability to read and understand recipes written in English.
• Ability to work safely with knives, slicing equipment and hot surfaces.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain sanitary standards.
• Additional culinary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area before, during, and after shift.
• Prepare all food items according to recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Set up workstation for maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Follow cost control and portion guidelines; discuss out-of-date products with management.
• Assist in back-of-house organization and prep work as assigned.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks as required.
