Job summary

Primanti Bros. is seeking Prep and Line Cooks to prepare a variety of dishes across stations in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow recipes, label items, and maintain sanitation standards while supporting team objectives.

You will handle prep lists, communicate effectively with teammates, and contribute to a safe, efficient dining experience for guests. This role involves standing 100% of shifts and working in a hot kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic math skills for recipe quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of food across stations (Appetizer, Bread & Fries, Grill, Pizza, Salad) per recipes.
• Prepares all items on Prep List and labels per Shelf Life Chart.
• Completes assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
• Follows safety and sanitation policies and HACCP procedures.
• Uses Waste Log and Cooldown Charts as required.
• Prepares orders to recipe specifications and timely.
• Communicates ticket times and problems to team members as needed.
• Ensures proper rotation of products and stock to par.
• Maintains positive relationships with teammates to foster a cooperative environment.
• Helps keep up with dishes in the dish area.
• Completes opening, shift change, closing checklists and cleaning tasks.
• Performs other duties per Coach request.
