Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a Line Cook / Wok Cook / Cook / Chef De Partie / Station Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will prepare and cook all food items to company specifications and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

No previous experience is required; we train you. A Food Handler’s Card is preferred, or we will help you obtain one. You must be able to stand for long periods, learn our recipes, and work flexible shifts in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training provided.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred or we will help you obtain one.
• Ability to learn restaurant menu, weights, measurements and recipes.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts; stand for extended periods; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications.
• Plate prepared foods according to chef’s guidance.
• Set up, operate, break down, and clean all kitchen equipment.
• Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils.
• Uphold high kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards.
