Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos is looking for dedicated Line Cooks in Charlottesville, VA. You’ll work across fry, grill, sauté and steam stations, assembling and cooking items to order with speed and precision.

As part of a fast-paced BOH team, you’ll ensure quality, cleanliness and teamwork while handling inventory and improving overall kitchen efficiency. Training and growth are available in a Damn Good culture.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours based on restaurant needs.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work with urgency and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations per Torchy's recipes and standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure dishes meet Damn Good standards before guest presentation.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Team Collaboration: Work with BOH team to ensure timely and correct food prep.
• Inventory Management: Assist stocking and organizing ingredients for service.
• Efficiency: Maintain pace during busy periods while preserving quality.
