Job summary

Torchy’s is hiring a Line Cook – Fry, Grill, Sauté, Steam, Taco to join our fast-paced kitchen in Texas. You’ll cook across fry, grill, sauté, steam stations, and assemble tacos to Torchy’s high standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s certification.
• Certification must be obtained by first day or within timeline required by location.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooking & Prep: Prepare and cook ingredients on grill, fryer, sauté, and steam stations per Torchy’s recipes.
• Quality Control: Monitor dish quality and presentation before serving.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized station.
• Team Collaboration: Work with BOH team to ensure timely, correct preparation.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing ingredients.
• Efficiency: Work with urgency during busy periods while sustaining quality.
