Job summary

The Swinomish Casino & Lodge in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook food to high standards in a fast-paced kitchen. You will label and rotate inventory, maintain clean stations, and follow safety guidelines to minimize waste while adhering to recipe procedures.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work quickly without compromising quality; experience in high-volume kitchens is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Must be 18+ and obtain Health Card, TIPS Card, and pass a background check to obtain a Class IV Gaming Commission permit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food quickly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Label and rotate inventory properly.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and supervisors.
• Practice safe food handling and meet Health Department guidelines.
• Perform prep work, use basic knife skills, and measure/mix ingredients.
