Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen in Orlando is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in varied kitchen roles, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. A Food Handler Certification within 30 days may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in varied kitchen roles (food prep, line cook, fry cook).
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Clear, effective communication; adapt quickly in a busy kitchen.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to WOB recipes, portions, cooking and serving standards.
• Follow the prep lists created by Kitchen management.
• Label and stock all ingredients for organization and accessibility.
• Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure all food and station items are stored properly.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely preparation of dishes.
• Maintain kitchen area organization and cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff.
