Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen in Orlando is seeking a detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and support the chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow directions of Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the WOB recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
• Follow the prep list created by Kitchen management.
• Labeling and stocking all ingredients so they can be organized and easily accessible.
• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food and station items are stored properly.
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
