Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen experience in a hotel, resort, or quality restaurant.
• Ability to read labels and communicate with guests about needs.
• Basic English spoken/written preferred.
• Serv Safe certifications (can be acquired after employment).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as instructed by the lead chef.
• Rotate through stations: entree, sides, desserts, appetizers, garnishes, portions.
• Coordinate with line cooks to move food from prep to line.
• Assist with shift changeovers to ensure orders are filled.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and surfaces daily.
• Attend training to improve cooking skills as required.
• Follow proper food handling and contamination controls.
