Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is seeking an experienced Line Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate food preparation. You will ensure dishes meet high standards, manage line stations, and support the kitchen team for smooth service.

The role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Culinary training is a plus, and a Food Handler certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and proper sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and multitask effectively.
• Experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes to ensure quality.
• Set up and stock assigned station before each shift.
• Utilize grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking techniques as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, portions, and presentation standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols for a clean kitchen environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders to minimize guest wait times.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Inspect food for quality and freshness and address issues with management.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages to kitchen management.
• Keep work area clean and organized, including equipment and storage areas.
