Job summary

PV Pie & Wine is seeking dependable line cooks to join a fast-paced BOH team. You will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain quality, and work across stations such as sauté, grill, fry, pantry, or prep.

Applicants should have a current Food Handler's Card and be able to work efficiently under pressure while communicating clearly with the team and guests. Benefits include health insurance options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Card required.
• Line cook/kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock assigned stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, sauces, and proteins.
• Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and guest requests.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen leadership.
• Maintain proper food quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Keep stations clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Label, store, rotate, and care for leftover food.
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed.
• Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Step in wherever needed to support the kitchen team.
